Amaç: Çalışma; gebeliğin son trimestrinde ve doğumdan sonra hastanede verilen eğitimin annelerin, taburculuğa hazır oluşluk, doğum sonu güçlüm yaşama ve yaşam kalitesine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Selçuk Üniversitesi Meram Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Ana Bilim Dalı’nda gerçekleştirilen çalışma; kontrol gruplu deneysel bir çalışmadır. Toplam 40 müdahale ve 40 deney grubu olmak üzere 80 gebe ile çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri Kişisel bilgi formu, Anne- bebek formu, “Hastane Taburculuğuna Hazır Oluşluk Ölçeği - Yeni Doğum Yapmış Anne Formu (HTHÖ-YDAF)”, “Doğum Sonu Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği (MAPP-QOL)” ile toplanmıştır. Müdahale grubuna doğum ve doğum sonrasına yönelik gebeliğin son trimestirinde ve doğumdan sonra hastanede eğitim verilmiş, kontrol grubuna eğitim verilmemiş ancak hastanenin rutin hizmetlerinden yararlanmıştır. Hastane taburculuğuna hazır oluşluk doğum sonrası ilk 24 saat içinde, doğum sonu güçlük yaşama durumu ve doğum sonu yaşam kalitesi ise doğumdan sonraki 4-6. haftada değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Müdahale grubunda kadınların taburculuğa hazır oluşluk puan ortancası (157.0) ve doğum sonu yaşam kalitesi puan ortancası (26.5) kontrol grubuna göre (sırasıyla 151; 24.3) daha yüksek ve fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Sonuç: Gebelik ve doğum sonu dönemde verilen doğum ve doğum sonrasına yönelik eğitimin kadınların hastane taburculuğuna hazır oluşluk düzeyini, doğum sonu güçlük yaşama durumunu ve doğum sonu yaşam kalitesini olumlu yönde etkilediği söylenebilir.
Objective: It was aimed in the study to determine the effects of the education, which started at the last trimester of gravidity and lasted at hospital and home postpartum, on mothers' readiness for postpartum discharge from the hospital, postpartum complaints, and quality of life. Method: An experimental study with control group evaluating the effects of training at the last trimester of pregnancy performed at the department of obstetrics and gynecology of Meram Faculty of Medicine, Selcuk University. A total of 80 pregnants (40 intervention, 40 control group) were studied. The data of the study consisted of personal information form, mother-infant form, Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale-New Mother Form (HTHÖ-YDAF) and postnatal quality of life (MAPP-QOL).The intervention group was trained for delivery and postpartum period in three phases, however, control group received no training except the routine sevices of the hospital. Result: The mean score of being prepared to be discharged (157.0), and the quality of life in the intervention group (26.5) was higher than in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (151 and 224.3, respectively) (p<0.05). Conclusion: As a result, education affected the readiness to be discharged from hospital and it was found that it increased the quality of life.
