Abstract:

The subject of entrepreneurship is a very important concept for both individuals and society. Popular and academic studies related to entrepreneurship appear to focus on the success factor. However, statistics show that the new initiatives in our country have led to a serious failure. Success and failure are one of the most important concepts of entrepreneurship. The subject of failure in entrepreneurship can be considered at individual and organizational level, objective and subjective (Jenkins and MacKelvie, 2016). In this study, the failure topics will be revealed by keeping the videos of entrepreneurs who express themselves failing to be subject to content analysis. In this way, the ignored aspects of entrepreneurship and the opposite logic will draw attention to the failure factors. While the failure of entrepreneurs means the end of the current initiative, there are many examples of success in the subsequent initiatives of the entrepreneur. The results of this study show that entrepreneurs failure factors complete the factors necessary for success in entrepreneurship. Failure stories can contribute to learning both in practice and at academic level.
