Bu araştırmada Öğretim Teknolojileri ve Materyal Tasarımı dersini alan sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının dersin uygulamaları ve süreçte aldıkları akran ve uzman geri bildirimleri ile ilgili görüş ve deneyimleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Nitel araştırma yöntemine uygun olarak tasarlanan bu araştırmada durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada, tek bir analiz birimi olarak Öğretim Teknolojileri ve Materyal Tasarımı dersi ele aldığından durum çalışmasının bütüncül tek durum deseni ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 2018-2019 akademik yılı bahar döneminde bir devlet üniversitesinin Eğitim Fakültesi Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği programında 3. sınıfta eğitim gören ve ÖTMT dersini almakta olan 83 öğretmen adayından oluşmaktadır. Çalışmada araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen yazılı görüş alma formu veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama süreci ÖTMT dersi uygulamalarının başlamasını takiben Mart 2019 ve Nisan 2019 tarihleri arasında tamamlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen veriler içerik analiziyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma bulgularının iç güvenirliği ve geçerliğini arttırmak amacıyla temaların altında öğretmen adayı görüşlerinden doğrudan alıntılara yer verilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda elde edilen veriler tablolaştırılarak frekanslarla sunulmuş, doğrudan alıntılarla desteklenmiştir. Sonuç olarak; ÖTMT dersi uygulamaları ve geri bildirimlerin mesleki açıdan kazanımları ile bireysel ve sosyal gelişimlerine katkısı olduğu, materyal hazırlama ve kullanma yeterliliği kazandırdığı, eğlenirken öğrendikleri, motive edici ve öğretici geri bildirimler aldıkları, dolayısıyla sınıf mevcudu kadar fikir sahibi oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
In this study, it was tried to determine the opinions and experiences of the social studies teacher candidates who took the Instructional Technologies and Material Design course about the practices of the course and the peer and expert feedback they received in the process. The case study design was used in this research, which was designed in accordance with the qualitative research method. In the study, the case study was carried out with a holistic single case design, since Instructional Technologies and Material Design course was handled as a single analysis unit. The study group of the research consists of 83 teacher candidates who are studying in the 3rd year of the Social Studies Teaching program of the Faculty of Education of a state university in the spring term of the 2018-2019 academic year and taking the ITMD course. In the study, the written opinion form developed by the researcher was used as a data collection tool. The data collection process was completed between March 2019 and April 2019, following the start of the ITMD course applications. The data obtained within the scope of the research were analyzed by content analysis. In order to increase the internal reliability and validity of the research findings, direct quotations from the views of the pre-service teachers were included under the themes. The data obtained as a result of the analyzes were tabulated and presented with frequencies and supported by direct quotations. As a result; It has been concluded that ITMD course practices and feedbacks contribute to their personal and social development as well as their professional achievements, they gain competence in preparing and using materials, they learn while having fun, they receive motivating and instructive feedbacks, and therefore they have as many ideas as the class size.
