Abstract:

The music press process based on written broadcasting in the territory of Anatolia began with the Ottoman State. During this period, a very limited number of newspapers and magazines were published on music. The first Turkish music magazine, Âlem-i Musiki, was published in Bursa on 1 October 1919. The editing and masterpiece, the magazine taken over by Mehmed Baha Pars, has been able to extract sixteen numbers. The Âlem-i Musiki Magazine is the only work in which the source information and work of both Turkey and Bursa in this area is included, with the character of being the first and comprehensive music broadcast in Bursa. The music of the time and the music of the music (who loves music, who deals with music, the musician) can be identified and evaluated through a series of writings entitled "Menâkıb-i Mûsikîşinâsân". There have been a total of twelve pieces of music related to the varied numbers of the magazine, which were identified and studied. Moving from the magazine articles that inform about music, the Bursa special has been attempted to reveal the country's music culture, perception and interest level of this period.
