Bu çalışmada Ahmet B. ERCİLASUN tarafından yayımlanan "Kara Kam Türk Bitig (Türk Destanı)" isimli eser tanıtılmaktadır. Eser bir yapma destan metnidir. Destan metni, Türeyiş mitleri, Oğuzname, Orhun Abideleri, Dede Korkut Boyları, Ulu Han Ata Bitigçi, Ergenekon Destanı, Bozkurt Destanı, Bozkurtlar gibi sözlü ve yazılı metinlerden "öykünme/feyz alma" yöntemiyle metinlerarasılıktan yararlanılarak kurgulanmış Kara Kam, destanda işlenen hanların dönemini dile getirmek üzere bütünleştirici kimlik olarak eserde yer almıştır.
