Pomza Agregasının Farklı Zamanlardaki Su Emmelerinin Hafif Betonun Mekanik ve Fiziksel Özelliklerine Etkisi

Abstract:

Hafif agregalarla hafif beton (HB) üretilmesindeki en büyük sorunlardan biri, agregaların farklı elek gruplarında farklı ve büyük su emme oranlarına sahip olmalarıdır. Bu çalışmada, pomza agregasının farklı zamanlardaki (5 dak., 10 dak., 60 dak., 1 gün ve 1 hafta) su emme miktarları tespit edilmiştir. 5 farklı zamandaki su emme miktarı ilavesi 5 farklı karışım oluşturacak şekilde, PÇ 42,5 R tipi çimento ile 700 dozlu ve 0,41 su/çimento (s/ç) oranına sahip her bir karışım için 18 adet, toplamda 90 adet 10x10x10 cm boyutlu taşıyıcı hafif beton (THB) numune üretilmiştir. 7 ve 28 günlük numunelerde su emme, yoğunluk, basınç dayanımı, yarmada çekme dayanımı, beton test çekici, ultrases geçiş hızı ve yüzeysel aşınma deneyleri yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, doğal neme sahip agregalarla yapılan karışımlarda, pomza agregasının ilk 10 dakikalık su emme miktarının karışım sırasında ilave su olarak eklenildiği numunelerin, referans betonu olarak düşünülen 1 günlük su emme miktarının ilave su olarak eklenildiği numunelerin basınç dayanımlarından % 21, ultrases geçiş hızlarından % 4, beton test çekici değerlerinin % 16, yarmada çekme dayanımlarından % 21 fazla olduğu ve yüzeysel aşınma kaybı da % 3 daha az olduğu gözlenmiştir.

Abstract:

One of the biggest difficulties of lightweight concrete that are produced with lightweight aggregate is the different and big water absorption of aggregates at different sieve groups. In this study, water absorption rates of pumice aggregates were determined at different periods as 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes, a day and a week. 90 pieces of 10x10x10 cm cube sampleswere produced as 18 pieces from each mixer with different water absorption rates of five periods using PC 42,5 R type cement. The water/cement (w/c) rates of these samples are 0.41 and 700 kg/m3 cement. Water absorption, density, compressive strength, tensile splitting strength, concrete test hammer, ultrasound, and abrasion resistant tests were applied for 7 and 28 days hardened samples. As a result, for mixtures of concrete that are prepared with naturally moistured aggregate, the samples in which the 10 minutes water absorption amount is added in pumice aggregate as addition water, have been observed that they have more than high %21 compressive strength, more than %4 ultrasound velocity, more than %16 concrete test hammer values, more than %21 tensile splitting strength and less than %3 abrasion less than the reference concrete in which a day water absorption is added as addition water
