I .th and II.th Erzurum Treaties take an important place in Ottoman – İran political relations. When articles of treaties studied, important points stand out. It can be seen in both treaties that both Ottoman and İran desired to end the war and seek peace. It was agreed on the issues of not to intervening into each other's internal affairs, trade and passage of pilgrims. Unfortunately, exterritorial countries were against the peace between these two great states. Particularly II Erzurum Treaty was signed under the pressure of British and Russian observers. Hence, border issues were the subject in which observers were most influential. This was the most important reason of agreement talks completing in as long as four years
