The political debates between the Muslims, which began with the issue of the election of the first caliph, eventually reached the faith area and gave rise to various sects. The main reason for the Shiite-Sunni divergence is the Imamate problem. There have been and continues to be serious discussions between the Shiite and Ahl al-Sunnah about the martyrdom of Osman and the cases of Camel and Sıffin after the transition of Ali to the caliphate and the individuals who played an active role in these cases. One of the most important figures in the Camel case is Aisha. Aisha was also mentioned in the sectarian disputes between Ibn Mutahhar al-Hilli and Ibn Taymiyya, powerful representatives of the Shııte and Sunni tradition. In our study, the views of both scholars about Aisha will be given. The study of their views on this issue is important as it shows how denominational orientations negatively affect the understanding and interpretation of historical data on important historical figures.
