Abstract:

36-year-old woman who has a headache complaint and has generalized tonic-clonic stroke has been traced on the result of chronic computer tomography (BT) and magnetic resonance (MR) venography, which has been traced on illness, scratch, scratch, and anemia, was found compatible with venous infection, encephalitis in the right temporoparietal area. The patient was initiated with low molecular weight heparin, antiepileptic, acyclovir and seftriakson. On the second day, the patient with an increased inclination to sleep developed hemiparesis in the upper and lower left extremities. The venous sinus thrombosis (VST) is most often affected by the superior sagital sinus. Symptoms may vary depending on the localization of the thrombosis. Headache, increased in-headache pressure signs, epileptic attacks and focal neurological disorders are the most common clinical signs. In addition to clinical findings in the diagnosis of VST, BT, contrasted MR imaging and MR venography are used. In individuals with genetic risk, oral contraceptive (OKS) use may trigger a birth act, or a penetrating trauma event. It has been shown that there may be a relationship between iron deficiency and VST, especially the risk of VST increased when the hemoglobin value is below 9 gr/dL. Kidney insufficiency, hypothyroidism, and smoking are among the other factors accused of high homosexuality. Treatment in VST should be immediately started. The treatment should be aimed at the primary cause that leads to anticoagulation and the VST clinic. The ability of venous thrombosis to respond to anticoagulant treatment makes it important to start treatment early. We consider it important to research VST with visual methods, especially when there are predisposing factors such as pregnancy, use of OKS.
