Bu çalışmanın amacı, önemi gittikçe artan kavram haritası yöntemine yönelik öğretmen adaylarının tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla kullanılabilecek bir tutum ölçeği geliştirmektir. Ölçek geliştirme çalışmasının ön uygulamaları 125 üniversite öğrencisiyle yürütülmüştür. Alanyazın ve öğrenci görüşleri doğrultusunda kavram haritasına yönelik tutumu ölçmek üzere 39 adet denemelik 5’li Likert tipi madde yazılmıştır. Faktör analizi sonucunda ölçeğin, özdeğerleri 1’den yüksek 2 faktörden meydana geldiği belirlenmiştir. Sırasıyla faktörlerin özdeğerleri; 6.921 ve 5.775; açıkladıkları varyanslar, %30.10 ve %25.11’dir. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi ile elde edilen yapıya kanıt sağlamak amacıyla doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda χ2=308.51, df=228, p=.000; RMSEA, 0.056; χ2/df=1.35; NFI=0.94; NNFI=0.98; CFI=0.98; GFI=0.81; AGFI=0.77 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin güvenirliğine ilişkin bilgi toplamak amacıyla faktörlere ve ölçeğe ilişkin Cronbach alfa güvenirlik katsayısı hesaplanmış ve sırasıyla 0.932, 0.893 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin tamamına ait alfa değeri ise 0.939 olarak hesaplanmıştır.
The aim of this study is to develop the attitude scale which can be used to measure attitudes towards the concept map. In order to measure the attitude towards concept maps, 39 tentative five-level Likert type items were written on the basis of the literature and the views of students and primary practices were implemented on 125 university students. As a result of the factor analysis, it is identified that the scale is comprised of 2 with Eigen values higher than 1. Factors’ Eigen values are respectively 6.921 and 5.775; variances explained by them are 30.10% and 25.11. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to provide proof for the structure produced as a result of the exploratory factor analysis. Confirmatory factor analysis results are: χ2=308.51, df=228, p=.000; RMSEA, 0.056; χ2/df=1.35; NFI=0.94; NNFI=0.98; CFI=0.98; GFI=0.81; AGFI=0.77. Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient was calculated in order to attain information on the reliability of the scale. Alpha for the first factor is 0.932, and for the second is 0.893. The total alpha value of the scale is 0.939
