Abstract:

The type of letter, which is as old as its history of writing, as in all the world literature, has also preserved and effectively used its importance for Turkish literature, which has evolved under the influence of Islam. Specifically the function of the letter and the life view of the mutasavvifs who make up an important part of the Turkish literature poets and the mutasavvifs' mission they undertake has made it possible that this type of literature is founded in our literature in a solid way. The members of Tasavvufi Turkish literature have often written letters to communicate their religious beliefs and tasavvufi opinions to both the people who have their contemporaries and to the future generations, and these letters have been booked when they form a jekun. 19 in this work.
