Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı “Öğretmen Liderliği” eğitim programının yaygın eğitim kurumları usta öğreticileri ve öğretmenlerinin demografik değişkenlerinin liderlik becerilerine etkisini değerlendirmektir. Araştırmada, deney grubunda yer alan katılımcılara 6 hafta boyunca haftada dört gün olmak üzere 24 etkinlikten oluşan "Öğretmen Liderliği" eğitim programı araştırmacı tarafından uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak Öğretmen Liderliği Ölçeği ve görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Kalıcılık testlerinin doldurulması ile eş zamanlı olarak katılımcılar ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinde SPSS 21.0 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Demografik değişkenlerinin karşılaştırılabilmesi için, Mann-Whitney U testi, Kruskal-Wallis Testi yapılmıştır. Katılımcıların öğretmen liderliği beceri düzeylerini artırmak amacıyla hazırlanan "Öğretmen Liderliği" eğitim programından yararlanan öğretmenlerin demografik değişkenlerinin öğretmen liderliği beceri düzeylerine etkisi incelendiğinde, sırasıyla sanat ve meslek branşı öğretmenlerin genel branş öğretmenlerine göre öğretmen liderliğinin gereklilik düzeyle anlamlı farklılık görülmüştür. Bu nedenle öğretmen liderliği eğitim programlarının özellikle genel branş öğretmenlerinin liderlik becerilerinin yükseltilmesi amacıyla uygulanmasının yararlı olabileceği düşünülmektedir.

Abstract:

The main purpose of this research is to evaluate the impact of the "Teacher Leadership" educational program on the leadership skills of the widespread educational institutions' master teachers and teachers' demographic variables. In the study, the researcher applied the "Teacher Leadership" training program, which consists of 24 events, four days a week for 6 weeks, to the participants in the experiment group. The study has used the Teacher Leadership Scale and Interview Form as data collection tools. Durability tests were completed and simultaneously semi-configured conversations were held with the participants. In the analysis of the research data, the SPSS 21.0 package program was used. To compare the demographic variables, the Mann-Whitney U test, the Kruskal-Wallis test, was made. When the impact of the demographic variables of teachers benefiting from the "Teacher Leadership" training program prepared to increase the teachers' leadership skills levels was studied, according to the general branch teachers of the art and profession teachers there was a significant difference in the level of need for teachers' leadership. Therefore, it is believed that the implementation of teacher leadership training programs may be useful, especially in order to improve the leadership skills of the general branch teachers.

Abstract:

The main purpose of this study is to assess the effect of the demographic variables of master trainers and teachers from informal education institutions participating in the “Teacher Leadership” training program on leadership skills. In the study, the “Teacher Leadership” training program consisting of 24 activities was applied to the participants in the experimental group by the researcher four days a week for 6 weeks. In the study, Teacher Leadership Scale and interview form were used as data collection tools. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with the participants synchronously with retention tests. The data of the study were analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 packaged software. In order to compare the demographic variables, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis Test were performed. When examining the effect of demographic variables of the teachers who used the “Teacher Leadership” training program, prepared for the purpose of increasing the teacher leadership skill levels of the participants, on their teacher leadership skill levels; it was observed that there was a significant difference between the teacher leadership and necessity level of teachers respectively from the branches of art and occupation compared to general branch teachers. Thus, it can be thought that it can be useful to apply the teacher leadership training programs for the purpose of increasing the leadership skills of especially general branch teachers.
