Ağıt Yakma Geleneği Bağlamında Sivas Elbeyli Yöresi Güney Köyü Ağıtları

Ölüm, ayrılık, doğal afetler ve savaş gibi olaylar insanlığın ortak acılarını yansıtır. Bu acılara verilen tepkiler toplumdan topluma, kültürden kültüre değişkenlik gösterdiği gibi aynı toplumda yöreden yöreye de farklılık arz etmektedir.  İnsanları acıya, hüzne, kedere gark eden söz konusu vakalar sonucu yakılan ağıtların Türk kültüründe köklü bir geçmişi vardır. Edebiyatımızın ninni, mani, tekerleme, efsane, destan, hikâye ve masal gibi sözlü kültürlerinin diğer bir halkası da ağıtlardır. Türk insanı, bu dayanılmaz acılar karşısında çaresizliğini “ağlama” eylemiyle bir nevi müzikal bir havaya büründürerek “ağıt yakma, ağıt düzme, ağıt etme, ağıt söyleme” diye tarif edilen şiirlerle terennüm ederek dile getirmiştir. Genel olarak ölen kimsenin ardından söylenen şiirler olarak bilinen ağıtlar, ağlamayı meşrulaştıran deprem, yangın, sel, savaş, ayrılık, askere gitme ve gelin gitme gibi hadiseleri de kapsamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Sivas Elbeyli yöresi Güney köyünde ağıt yakma geleneğine bağlı olarak icra edilen ağıtlara yer verilmiştir. Güney Köyü Ferdî Halk Edebiyatı Ürünleri adlı yüksek lisans tezinden türetilen çalışmada “Ağıt Yakma Geleneği ve Sivas Güney Köyü Ağıtları” bölümü üç alt başlıkta sınıflandırılmıştır. Erkek ağıtçılara ait on beş, kadın ağıtçılara ait yirmi ve altı adet de anonim ağıt bulunmaktadır. Genel kabul doğrultusunda çalışmada, kadınların yakmış oldukları ağıtlar çoğunluktadır. Ağıtların büyük bölümü belli kişiler tarafından söylenmiştir. Ağıtlar, hikâyeli şiirlerdir. Bu hikâyeler; yöreye ait bilgiler, coğrafî özellikler, sosyal yapı, kişiler hakkında bilgi, kültürel birikimin aktarılması gibi işleve sahiptir. Genel olarak ölüm ve ayrılık üzerine yakılan bu ağıtların hikâyesi tespit edilenlerin hikâyelerine yer verilmiştir.

Events like death, separation, natural disasters and war reflect the common suffering of mankind. The reactions to these suffering are varied from society to society, from culture to culture in the same society from place to place.  The networks burned as a result of the cases that hurt people to suffering, sadness, and sadness have a rooted history in the Turkish culture. Another circle of our literature’s verbal cultures, such as mania, rolling, legend, plot, story and fairy tale, are also networks. The Turkish man has expressed his disappointment in the face of these unbearable suffering with the act of "to cry" in a musical atmosphere, throwing out with the poems described as "to burn the paper, to lay the paper, to lay the paper, to say the paper". In general, the poems known as the poems that follow the dead include events such as earthquakes, fires, floods, wars, separation, going to the military and going to the bride. In this study, the networks were placed in the southern village of Sivas Elbeyli, based on the tradition of burning paper. Southern Village People's Literature Products In the study derived from the master's thesis, the section "Tradition of Burning Tires and Southern Village Tires of Sivas" is classified in three subtitles. Abstract:

A number of events such as death, separation, natural disasters and war reflect the common suffering of humanity. The reactions to these painful events vary from society to society, from culture to culture, as well as from region to region in the same society.  The lamentations sung as a result of these events that cause people to suffer pain, sorrow and grief have a deeply rooted history in Turkish culture. The lamentations are another type of oral cultural assets of our literature such as lullaby, mâni (short poems), nursery rhyme, legend, epic, story and folktale. Turkish people have expressed their helplessness in the face of these unbearable pains with the act of "crying" by converting it into a kind of musical mood and singing it with poems described as "ağıt yakma, ağıt düzme, ağıt etme, ağıt söyleme". The lamentations, generally known as poems sung after the deceased, also include events that justify crying such as earthquakes, fires, floods, wars, separation, military service and the bride leaving her home. In this study, the lamentations performed in Güney village of Sivas Elbeyli region are included depending on the tradition of lamentation. In the study derived from the master's thesis titled “Individual Folk Literature Products in Güney Village”, the section titled "The Tradition of Lamentation and Sivas Güney Village Lamentations" is classified under three subheadings. There are fifteen lamentations sung by male lamenters, twenty by female lamenters and four anonymous lamentations. In line with the general acceptance, the majority of the lamentations sung by women in the study. Most of the lamentations were sung by certain people. The lamentations are poems embedded with stories. These stories serve to convey information about the region, geographical features, social structure, local people and cultural accumulation. In general, the stories in these lamentations on death and separation are included in the stories of those whose stories are identified.
