Park areas where social activities happen are the most important spaces for urban people. In recent years, parks are seen as the most important aspects of culture and education which are reflected on the city. There are various studies about this issue all around the World. City parks are the elements of green infrastructure and they are the crucial city components where recreation and relaxation activities are performed. This study mainly aims to look at the reflection of educational and cultural differences on city parks. Therefore, the study focuses on park areas in the Netherlands and Turkey, which can be seen as a reflection of two different characters.Segmenler Park and Göksu Park are located in Ankara which is the capital city of Turkey. These park areas have some similarities in terms of location and using facilities with Frankendael Park and Bijmerpark in Amsterdam which is the capital city of Netherlands. So, while comparing design and planning concepts and approaches between Netherland and Turkey, these park areas were used to determine similarities or differences in cultural and educational reflections.In this study, which compares the parks in two countries, 40 people for each park participated in the survey.Correlations were created between the users’ satisfaction and expectations about the parks. In this respect,cultural and educational comparisons between Segmenler Parkı (Ankara) and Frankendael (Amsterdam), and between Göksupark (Ankara) and Bijlmerpark (Amsterdam) were made.As a result, on the level of city parks, the study specifies how landscape architecture education and culturalreflections influence the urban as a whole.
