The pineapple (Pinus pinaster) It is one of the most important trees used in our country for the purpose of building industrial plantations. In this study, body diameter models have been developed for the Istanbul-Sarıyer area coastal straw plantations. In the study, a total of 194 samples were used for detailed measurements on the tree. The smallest square method has been used to develop the models. For the resolution of the problem of autocorrelation encountered during the development of body diameter models, the second-degree autoregressive error structure (CAR(2)) and the presence of multiple connectivity problems have been used. The performance of the models was assessed in terms of diameter, size, commercial volume and total tree volume forecasts. For this purpose, five different standards (R2, RMSE, AIC, BIC and AAE) have been used. When the measurement values are studied; in diameter forecasts Kozak (2004), in tree length, commercial and total volume forecasts Fang etc. The model developed by (2000) was more successful. However, it can also be said that there are no significant differences between the models in terms of predictive performance. Therefore, it would be more appropriate for the practitioner to decide which model will be preferred in the body diameter and volume estimate studies to be performed in the coastal therm plantations.
