Mucoceles are mucus containing structures surrounded by pseudostratified epithelium and they fill the paranasal sinuses. Mucoceles of the paranasal sinuses most commonly occur in the frontal sinus. Despite being benign lesions, they can cause bone erosions extending intraorbital and intracranial regions. Therefore, choosing an effective treatment approach is essential. In patients with a history of trauma or surgery, frontal sinus obliteration with the osteoplastic flap is often preferred. A patient had developed frontal mucocele after the transcranial pituitary surgery and was treated with the osteoplastic flap, was presented together with a review of the literature.
