Abstract:

Kur’an öğretimi uzun yıllardır süregelen bir gelenektir. Cumhuriyet döneminde de Kur’an öğretimi bazı örgün eğitim kurumlarında ve Kur’an Kursu’nda devam etmektedir. Cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarından itibaren Kur'an kurslarının, öğreticilerin ve öğrencilerin sayısının giderek arttığı görülmektedir. Bununla birlikte, bu gün hala bir Kur’an Kursu öğreticisinin hangi niteliklere sahip olması gerektiği ortaya konmuş değildir. Kur'an Kursu öğreticisinin görevleri dikkate alındığında onun öğretim hizmetini etkin bir şekilde yürütebilmesi için alan bilgisi, eğitim-öğretim bilgi ve becerisi, genel kültür olmak üzere üç temel alanda yeterli olması gerekmektedir
