Abstract:

As a result; high school students’ attitude towards school has been shown to change by gender variable, with the total score and lower dimensions of the matching points. High school students have found that there are meaningful relationships between the type of high school they study, where they stay, regular books reading habits, occupational preferences and the subdimensions of attitude towards school. Also, there are significant differences between the students’ classes, the status of school preference, the purposes of using the internet and the school achievements they perceive and the overall points of attitude to the school and some subdimensions. In this study, high school students’ attitudes towards school are aimed at studying the relationship between them according to gender, high school type, regular reading habits, occupational preference status, class level, school preference status, where they stay, the purpose of using the internet, the level of school success they perceive and the parent attitude they perceive. The study group; 2017 - 2018 educational year in Erzincan Illi Refahiye District/studying 264 students (141 women and 123 men) are formed. In the collection of data, the scale of attitude to the school and the personal information form were used. In the analysis of the data, the SPSS for windovs 21.0 statistical program was used, the independent groups t test, the one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) test and the Kruskal Wallis H test were performed.
