al-Thaʿlabī is one of the first term exegeters. He mostly wrote tafsir with the ish’ārī method. His tafsir is one of the important sources in this field. On the other hand the attributes of God are an invisible (ghaybī) issue. Therefore, it is possible to reach precise information about only nass. The information here is limited. Therefore, they have an intriguing structure. Knowing God, an transcendent being, is one of the things that people want in every period. For this reason, people have tried to examine the issue more deeply based on this information on nass. The views put forward in this area are not precise information identity. al-Thaʿlabī likewise have opted to address the issue within the framework of ish’ārī interpretations. Like the other attributes of God, he benefited from the opinions of the first period exegeters about these two attributes. In this study, we dealt with these two attributes of God within the framework of the tafsir of al-Thaʿlabī, called al-Kashf wa-lbayān ʿan tafsīr al-Qurʾān. His handling of these adjectives in more detail helped us in making this choice. Our aim will be to provide a better understanding of these attributes and to obtain information about this tafsir of al-Thaʿlabī. Although the subject is limited, it will make it possible to have a little information about the general of the tafsīr.
