Derginizin 2022 yılı ikinci sayısında yayınlanan Akça ve arkadaşları tarafından hazırlanan “Pandeminin Dilemması: İlaç Yan Etkisi mi? Ya COVID-19'sa?” isimli yazıyı büyük bir ilgi ile okuduk. Yazarlara ve editöriyel kurula klinik sorunu tartışan bu ilgi çekici yazıdan dolayı teşekkür ederiz (1). Biz de bu yazımızda pnömoni ve özellikle SARS-CoV-2 pnömonisi ile ayırt etmede klinisyenleri zorlayan bir diğer antite olan akut kalp yetmezliğine değinmek isteriz.
We read the article with great interest article titled “The Dilemma of the Pandemic: A Medication Side Effect? What if it's COVID-19?” prepared by Akça et al., and published in the second issue of your journal in 2022. We thank the authors and the editorial board for this interesting article discussing the clinical issue. In this article, we would like to mention acute heart failure, another entity that challenges clinicians to distinguish it from pneumonia and especially SARS-CoV-2 pneumonia.
