The prophecy, which has existed since the very ancient civilizations, which we can describe as an attempt to know in advance the future events in a number of ways, has been appreciated by almost all civilizations. The past has not been important for many of us since the beginning of the world, but has been the greatest curiosity of mankind, the desire to know the future and the prophecy. Knowing in advance how the outcome of any work to be done, learning a person’s literacy, has engaged people throughout history. In ancient times, the prophecy became interesting and convincing by everyone from the lower layer of the people to the upper layer, the places of wisdom were respected in society as holy persons in the holy places, the priests of wisdom. People have shown endless respect for the knowledge centers that are operating according to the form of faith of the time they live, and they have supported these places in a material and spiritual way. Didyma, Claros and Delphoi were the most important prophecy centers of ancient times, and the most important god of many more prophecy centers was Apollon. Apollon was also the most applied god for prophecy. The association of the action with a god and the transformation into a religious ritual has increased the trust and respect that is heard in these places. Today, the desire to communicate through different means, such as prophecy, fal and magic, which means learning and informing about the future, continues. In this study, we will also comprehensively evaluate how prophecy, wave and magic lead from ancient times to present by showing the evolution and change. Abstract Prophecies which exist from the ancient ages, shortly we name them trying to foresee the future by using several methods, was pritorized by almost every nation. Since the beginning of time past was not so important for most of us but the greatest curiosity of humanity was the desire to see the future and to be informed by the prophecies. To foresee the results of a work beforehand or to learn the destiny of a human kept people busy throughout the history. In ancient ages prophecy was absorbing and convincing for almost everyone from the lowest class to the highest. Scienticism premises were known as sacred places and oracles who were interested in scienticism were known as holy people by the society. People, expediently to their way of belief within the era they live, showed enough respect to scienticism premises, which were in service, substantially and morally. Didyma, Klaros and Delphoi were the most important prophecy centers of the ancient age. Apollon, the God of prophecy, is the most important God of prophecy premises. Harmonizing the activity with a God and rendering it as a religious ritual, increased the trust and respect of the society to these premises without a doubt. Today, the desire of appyling crafts such as prophecy, fortune-telling or magic, which means to learn the future or to inform people of the future events, continues. In this work, it will be evaluated extensively how a progress and alteration prophecy, fortune-telling or magic show coming form ancient ages to present.
