Şiirleri Bestelenen Sultan Şairler ve Sultanlarda Peygamber Sevgisi

Klasik Türk şiiri sahasında, birçok meslek grubundan şairler, çeşitli konularda şiirler kaleme almışlardır. Bunlardan en çok dikkat çekeni, Osmanlı İmparatorluğunu yöneten sultanlardır. XVI. yüzyıldan itibaren olmakla birlikte pek çok sultan, edebiyat ve mûsikî ile ilgilenmiştir. Şiirle ilgilenen sultanların neredeyse tamamına yakını Hz. Muhammed (sav) sevgisi ile na’t da kaleme almıştır. Şiir yazdığı bilinen ve dîvân sahibi olan Osmanlı sultanlarının sayısı 19’dur. Eserleri bestelenen sultanların sayısı ise 12’dir. Eserleri en çok bestelenen sultan, Adlî mahlasıyla şiir yazan II. Mahmud’dur (1808-1839) ve 9 farklı eseri bestelenmiştir. En çok bestelenen eser ise “Sanma şâhım herkesi sen sâdıkâne yâr olur” ismiyle, Yavuz Sultan Selim’e (1512-1520) ait olup 10 farklı bestekâr tarafından bestelenmiştir. Kendi eserini besteleyen sultanlar; Murâdî mahlaslı III. Murad (1574-1595), İlhâmî mahlaslı III. Selim (1789-1807) ve Adlî mahlaslı II. Mahmud’dur. Çalışmamızda öncelikle eserleri bestelenen sultan şairler sırasıyla zikredilmiş, hayatları ve bilhassa mûsikî ile ilişkileri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Sonraki bölümde sultanlarda peygamber sevgisi konusu ele alınmış; na’t yazan sultanlar hakkında bilgi verilmiş ve na’tları bestelenen sultanlar zikredilmiştir. Söz konusu bestelerin notaları ise çalışmanın sonunda sunulmuştur.

In the field of classical Turkish poetry, poets from many professional groups have written poems on various subjects. The most notable of these were the sultans who managed the Ottoman Empire. Starting from the 16th century onwards, many sultans were interested in literature and music. Almost all of the sultans who were interested in poetry also wrote na't with the love of the Hz. Mohammed (saw). The number of Ottoman sultans who are known to have written poetry and owned a dîvân is 19. The number of sultans whose works were composed is 12. The sultan whose works were composed the most was Mahmud II (1808-1839), who wrote poetry under the pseudonym Adlî, and 9 different works were composed. The most composed work belongs to Yavuz Sultan Selim (1512-1520) with the title "Sanma şâhım herkesi sen sâdıkâne yâr olur" and was composed by 10 different composers. The sultans who composed their own works are Murad III with the pseudonym Murâdî (1574-1595), Selim III with the pseudonym İlhâmî (1789-1807) and Mahmud II with the pseudonym Adlî. In our study, first of all, the sultan poets whose works were composed are mentioned in order, and information about their lives and especially their relationship with music is given. In the next section, the subject of the sultan’s love for the prophet Mohammed is discussed, information is given about the sultans who wrote na't, and the sultans whose na't were composed are mentioned. The notes of these compositions are presented at the end of the study.
