Abstract:

Everyone is curious and wants to know. He wants to solve his curiosity by touching, examining, asking questions, questioning the possibilities. Unless he dissolves his curiosity, he cannot bring himself to an integrity. Curious with the child, learning begins with curiosity. It is believed that this study, aimed at studying the views of pre-school teachers on the interests of children, will contribute to the information about early childhood and will be an important starting point for similar studies to be conducted in the future. The participants of the research designed as a state study from the quality research patterns are 10 teachers working in the pre-school educational institutions associated with the Ministry of Education of Ankara in the 2017-2018 educational year. The research data was obtained by asking questions to teachers in a semi-configured interview form prepared by the researchers. In the analysis of the data obtained, the content analysis method was used. The research found that pre-school children were in intense curiosity about animals, natural events, world and space issues, were in efforts such as observation, research and asking questions to satisfy their curiosity, and their teachers were in reactions to solving and expanding their curiosity. It has also been achieved that the children's interests in the science center and scientific activities are high, and the teachers prefer the most method of play to increase the children's interests. Without concern, we go on the only way, we go on the only way. We cannot and cannot develop above a certain standard. Pre-school educational environments equipped with rich stimulators and supported by conscious teachers will be effective in the development of children’s curiosity in a positive direction. This study was conducted only with teachers. Children, teachers and family opinions can be determined by children’s curiosities.
