Özet:

There are unlimited possibilities of expression in terms of materials in contemporary art. Artistic production can be mentioned from the use of the human body as a material to the records of the life cycle of nature in its own state. The main concept associated with the content and context in the formation of the work can highlight the story of the material. In this study, the destructions that occur in nature, which the artist treats as a material during the production stage, are evaluated in relation to the concept of deterioration. In the first part, the difference between the concepts of landscape and nature is emphasized with an approach in favor of first nature. The second main part of the subject is the examination of the direct or indirect negative impact of the human, who is a part of bio-cultural life, on the planet through works of art. Finally, remedial art acts and works produced by artists who are concerned about ecological deterioration with a healing and restoration approach in nature are included. Concepts such as nature as space, nature as context, nature and human age with which we are articulated are also important concepts in the context of our relationship with the earth.
