Bu araştırmanın amacı, spor kulüplerine üye bireylerin spor kulübü kavramına ilişkin sahip oldukları algıları metaforlar yardımıyla belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu toplam 98 spor kulübü üyesi oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veri toplamak amacıyla katılımcılara spor kulübü kavramına ilişkin sahip oldukları algılarını belirlemek için “metafor formu” hazırlanmıştır. Metafor formunda katılımcılardan “Spor kulübü……gibidir Çünkü..…” cümlesini tamamlamaları istenmiştir. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yaklaşımlarından olgubilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ise içerik analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerinin analizinin güvenirliği için katılımcılar arası güvenirlik kat sayısı hesaplanmış ve bu değer %94 olarak bulunmuştur. Verilerin değerlendirilmesiyle, spor kulübü üyelerinin toplam 39 metafor ürettikleri görülmüştür. Üretilen bu metaforlar 6 farklı kategoride toplanmıştır. Katılımcılar spor kulübü kavramına ilişkin en çok “çeşitlilik” ve “eğitim” kategorisinde metaforlar geliştirdikleri belirlenirken, bu kategorileri “sağlık”, “toplumsal bütünleşme”, “sporun çekirdek örgütü” ve “sosyalleşme” kategorileri izlemiştir. Katılımcıların en fazla ürettiği metaforlar aile, ağaç, yuva, gökkuşağı ve arkadaşlık şeklinde sıralanmıştır. Spor kulübü kavramı için canlı, cansız, soyut ve somut metaforlar kullanılmıştır.
The purpose of this research is to determine the perceptions that members of sports clubs have about the concept of sports clubs by the help of metaphors. The research group consisted of a total of 98 sports clubs. In order to collect data in the study, participants were prepared a "metafor form" to determine their perceptions about the concept of sports club. In the Metafor form, the participants were asked to complete the phrase "Sports Club is... because..." In the research, it has been used the concept of quality research approaches. In the analysis of data, the content analysis technique is used. For the reliability of the analysis of the research data, the number of reliability fractions between participants was calculated and this value was found at 94% . According to the data, the sports club members produced a total of 39 metaphors. These metaphors are collected in 6 different categories. While the participants were determined to have developed the most metafores in the category "diversity" and "education" regarding the concept of sports club, these categories were followed by the categories "health", "social integration", "core organization of sport" and "socialization". The metaphors most produced by the participants were ranked in the form of family, tree, house, cloudy and friendship. For the concept of sports club, live, unlive, abstract and concrete metaphors have been used.
