Bu araştırma kadın sağlık çalışanlarının cam tavan sendromu ve mobbing durumlarının incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu sağlık alanında çalışan 259 kadın oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, Karaca (2007) tarafından geliştirilen “Cam Tavan Algısı Ölçeği” ve Laleoğlu ve Özmete (2013) tarafından uyarlanan “Mobbing Ölçeği” ile toplanmıştır. Veriler bağımsız örneklemlerde t testi, ANOVA ve Pearson Çarpım Moment Korelasyon analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucuna göre; kadın sağlık çalışanlarının yaş değişkeninin cam tavan algısı ölçeğinin kadınların kişisel tercih algıları alt boyut puanlarında anlamlı bir farklılık oluşturmaktadır. Evli olan kadınların çoklu rol üstlenme, kişisel tercih algıları ve stereotip alt boyutlarına ait puan ortalamalarının bekâr olan gruba göre daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Kadınların kişisel tercih algıları ile örgüt kültürü ve politikaları alt boyut puanlarında çalışma yılının anlamlı bir farklılık oluşturduğu, ayrıca işlerini hiç sevmediklerini belirten kadınların cam tavan algısı ölçeği toplam puanlarının diğer gruplara göre daha düşük olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmada ayrıca kadın sağlık çalışanlarının yaş, medeni durum, çalışma yılı ile işini sevme düzeyinin mobbing ölçeği toplam puanlarında anlamlı bir farklılık oluşturduğu, cam tavan algısı ölçeğine ait puanlar ile mobbing ölçeği puanları arasında ise pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır.
This study was conducted to examine the glass ceiling syndrome and mobbing experienced by female health workers. The study group consisted of 259 women working in the field of health. The data were collected using the "Personal Information Form", "Glass Ceiling Perception Scale" developed by Karaca (2007) and the "Mobbing Scale" adapted by Laleoğlu and Özmete (2013). Descriptive statistics, independent samples t test, one-way analysis of variance and Pearson Product Moment Correlation analysis were used in the analysis of the data. The results revealed that there was a significant difference in the personal preference perceptions sub-dimension of the glass ceiling perception scale with regard to age. It was found that the married participants’ average scores in multi-role taking, personal preference perceptions and stereotypes scores was higher than those of the single group. It was also revealed that the working year made a significant difference in women's personal preference perceptions and organizational culture and policies sub-dimensions. It was also indicated in the study that the age, marital status, working year and level of love of work made a significant difference in the total scores of the mobbing scale, and there was a positive significant relationship between the glass ceiling perception scale and the mobbing scale scores.
