Bu çalışmanın konusu Banu Mahir’in Osmanlı Resim Sanatında Saz Üslubu adlı eseridir. Kitap, İslam Sanatında Kalem-i Siyahi Resim ve Ressamlığı, Saz Üslubunun Tanımı, Resimlerinin Ana Motifleri ve Sanatçıları, Saz Üslubunda Resimlerin İkonografyası ve Osmanlı Bezeme Sanatında Saz Üslubu olmak üzere dört bölümden oluşmaktadır.
