Organizational silence is the situation that employees, keep their opinions and worries about problems of the company they work; not share their troubles about improvement and development of anykind of topic by voluntarily or unvolantarly. Organizational silence can be appeared by two different ways. The first one; the employee keep his/her silence , conciously, volantarlyand on purpose. The second one; is described as leavingsomeone in silence. There are four theories about organizational silence. There are, waiting theory, planned behaviour theory, benefit cost analyzed theory and self adaptation theory. Organizational silence is different in health care units. It can be major ethical, consciencious obligations despite other organizations. Because of nurses are in constant communication with patients and patients relatives, they can be faced with more medical error risk despite other occupational groups and other health care groups. Thats why nurses have an important places in reducing medical and unmedicalerrors in organization. Thats why searching the causes of organizational silence behavior may be important.
