Bu çalışmanın amacı sayı duyusuna yönelik bir özyeterlik ölçeği geliştirmektir. 30 maddeden oluşan taslak ölçek ortaokul 6. sınıfa devam eden toplam 304 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin geçerliği için uzman görüşleri temel alınmış, güvenirliğinin belirlenmesinde Cronbach-α güvenirlik katsayısı hesaplanmış ve 0.82 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini incelemek amacıyla faktör analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda 19 madde ve 4 faktörden oluşan sayı duyusuna yönelik özyeterlik ölçeği elde edilmiştir.
