Abstract:

Today, especially Western communities are undergoing an intense process of fighting with the coran virus, which begins in China’s city of Wuhan and is spread throughout the world. When the bullying began, the Western leaders claimed that it was too exaggerated, that it was a temporary disease, and even that it would soon end, so they continued to stay away from the fact of death. The same situation is very similar to what happened in Albert Camus's novel "Veba", even though the place and history are interestingly different. The epidemic in the novel of the French philosopher Albert Camus began in the port city of Algeria, Oran. As with this epidemic, in the first days when the coranavirus epidemic occurred in China, some experts in other countries also thought that more poor people would be affected by this disease, and in countries with the health system vulnerable, they claimed that it would be uncontrollable that this epidemic would spread more. Both in the novel and in the case of coronavirus, people think the epidemic is temporary. This study addresses similarities and very few differences in psychosocial events from the beginning to the end of the epidemic.
