The age range and the time of practice of students of the futsal modality can interfere in the level of learning and consequently in the performance of motor skills of the technical fundamentals of children of the initial years in the elementary school. The objective of this study was to compare the performance of technical fundamentals in futsal in children of different age groups of the initial years in elementary school. 16 children were divided into groups of second-year (G1) and fourth-year (G2) elementary students. Both groups were evaluated by the Skills test, adapted to futsal. The age, body mass, height, ball driving, ball dominance, kick accuracy and pass accuracy were obtained and compared. The study showed significant differences only in the variables of age and body mass (p < 0.05). In the other variables, there were no significant differences (p > 0.05). The performance of technical fundamentals was similar in children of different ages of elementary school.
