Özet:

Recently, the progresses that are made in Information Technologies cause companies to use computer and various software’s to be used. One of the significant areas in which the computers are used is accounting. The accounting programs have an important place in the productivity of accounting companies and the satisfaction of the stakeholders of the companies. In this study, the aim is to unearth the differences by comparing the accounting software’s that are being used in the company’s departments of financial businesses/accounting and independent accountant and financial advisor offices in terms of financial accounting. In addition, it was aimed to reach the information of the most preferred software/software’s and again the most preferred software/software’s according to the field of activity at the company. In the data gathering section of the research, face to face survey method was used. The data was analyzed via the SPSS 22.0 program. In the study in which it was benefitted from frequency analysis and one way variant analysis, the result was reached that there are significant differences in choosing the used accounting programs according to the financial accounting features and that the most preferred software is LOGO. Considering the results that were reached in terms of company business, the most preferred program in production companies is SAP, trade and service companies is LOGO, independent accountant and financial advisor offices is LUCA.
