Abstract:

Bülbül Hatun II. Bayezid’in hanımı ve Şehzade Ahmed’in annesidir. Şehzade Ahmed Amasya’da sancakbeyi iken oğlunun yanında kalmıştır. Hayırsever bir kişiliğe sahiptir. Bütün mal varlığını Amasya ve Lâdik’te inşa ettirdiği hayır kurumlarının devamı için vakfetmiştir. Kurduğu vakfın işleyişi hakkında 1511 ve 1513 tarihlerinde iki vakfiye tanzim etmiştir. Vakfiyelerinde vakıf mallarının neler olduğu, vakıf görevlileri, yapacakları işler, alacakları ücretler ve imaretten yararlanacak kişiler ayrıntılı olarak açıklanmıştır.

Abstract:

Bülbül Hatun was the wife of Bayezid II and the mother of Prince Ahmed. She stayed with Prince Ahmed  while he was a sanjakbey in Amasya. She had a charitable character and dedicated all her assets to the  continuation of her waqfs in Amasya and Lâdik. In 1511 and 1513, she arranged two waqfiyyes for her  waqfs. In the charters; the waqf properties, waqf officers and their duties, their salaries and the beneficiaries  of the waqf imaret (public kitchen) were given in detail.
