Abstract:

The concept of Industry 4.0, launched as the fourth industrial revolution, has a significant potential to affect many sectors today. The types of services demanded from the logistics sector in the main sectors under the influence of Industry 4.0 are also diversified by the digitalization of industrial processes. All Industry 4.0 applications in the logistics sector are basically within the Logistics 4.0 field. The objective of this study is to draw the main lines, taking into account the development of Logistics 4.0 from the past to the present, and to keep light on the areas of Logistics 4.0 that have not yet been discovered or open to development.

The service types demanded from the logistics sector, which is one of the sectors that are under the influence of Industry 4.0, are also diversified by digitalization of industrial processes. All Industry 4.0 applications in the logistics sector are basically in Logistics 4.0. The aim of this study is to draw the outline of Logistics 4.0 by reviewing development from past to present and current state, and shed light on the undiscovered or developing areas of Logistics 4.0.
