Bu çalışma, Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Bölümü Müzik Öğretmenliği Programı Ana Bilim Dalında sekiz yarıyıllık bir süreçte uygulanan viyola eğitimine katkı sağlamak amacı ile hazırlanmıştır. Bu amaçla TRT Müzik Dairesi Yayınları Türk Halk Müziği repertuarından bölge ayrımı gözetilmeksizin, tampere sisteme uygun olarak yetmiş türkü seçilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, bu konuda söz sahibi olan çeşitli sanatçı ve eğitimcilerin görüşleri doğrultusunda hazırlanıp, sekiz yarıyıllık süreçte uygulanan viyola eğitiminin her yarıyılı (Güz, Bahar) için ayrı ayrı düzenlenerek viyola çalma tekniğine uygun hale getirilmiştir.
