Bu çalışmanın amacı, okul öncesi dönem çocukların dikkat ve görsel algı düzeylerini akıl ve zekâ oyunları eğitimine katılıp katılmama durumuna göre incelemektir. Çalışma nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden nedensel karşılaştırma modelinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu akıl ve zekâ oyunları eğitimine katılan (n=46) ve katılmayan (n=46) 60-72 aylık toplam 92 çocuk oluşturmaktadır. Veriler Beş Yaş Çocuklarının Dikkat Toplama Testi ve Görsel Algılama Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda akıl ve zekâ oyunları eğitimine katılan okul öncesi dönem çocukların dikkat ve görsel algı düzeylerinin eğitime katılmayan çocuklardan daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Dikkat düzeylerinin cinsiyet ve yaş değişkenine göre farklılaşmadığı belirlenirken görsel algı düzeylerinin farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Bununla birlikte okul öncesi eğitimde üçüncü yılı olan çocukların dikkat düzeylerinin ilk yılı olan çocuklardan daha yüksek olduğu, görsel algı düzeylerinin ise okul öncesi eğitimde ilk yılı ve ikinci yılı olan çocuklardan daha yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır.
The aim of this study is to examine the attention and visual perception levels of preschool children according to their participation in mind and intelligence games education. The study was carried out in the causal comparison model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. The study group of the research consists of a total of 92 children aged 60-72 months, who participate in the training of intelligence and mind games (n=46) and who does not participate (n=46). Data were collected with the Five-Year-Old Children's Attention Test and Visual-Perception Scale. The research found that the levels of attention and visual perception of preschool children attending the training of intelligence and mind games were higher than those who did not attend the training. While it was determined that the attention levels did not differ according to the gender and age variable, it was observed that the visual perception levels differed. In addition, it was determined that the attention levels of the children in the third year of preschool education were higher than the children in the first year, and the visual perception levels were higher than the children in the first year and the second year of preschool education.
