Abstract:

In recent years, important work has been done for the teaching of values. In previous programs (1968, 1998) there were activities aimed at teaching as a cover of values, while in 2005 the teaching programs included achievements, content and learning experiences aimed at teaching values. One of the values intended to be awarded to students in these programs is responsibility. This value also comes at the forefront of the values that students want to earn by classmates and primary school student guardians. This study aims to determine the perception of responsibility and learning experiences of primary school students. Thus, it is believed that the teaching of the value of responsibility to be done later could be presented an important roadmap from various aspects. In this study, the research model has been used by the facts science. The study included 10 students from a primary school in Diyarbakır province where students studied at the middle and lower socio-economic level. I used my technical examples for the identification of participants. The research data was collected with student images and a semi-configured interview form. In the analysis of data, the thematic analysis technique was used. According to the findings obtained in the research, primary school students understand responsibility as business, task and duty. In addition, students learn the responsibility by means of telkin and modeling from the family, school and close surroundings. Those who are taken as models by students are taken as examples because of their various characteristics.
