Endüstri çağının sarsıcı değişimi birçok alanı etkilediği gibi eğitim sistemini de etkisi altına almıştır ve artan kapitalizm toplumların farklı ihtiyaçlarını beraberinde getirmiştir. Geçmişte kapitalizmin ihtiyaçları, herkes için açık eğitim ile yeterli işçi gücünü eğitmeye çalışmaktaydı. Günümüzde ise bu ihtiyaçlar fen, teknoloji, mühendislik ve matematik eğitimi ile karşılanmak istenmekte olup, bunun da bir sonucu olarak fen, teknoloji, mühendislik ve matematik eğitimine ilgi ve talep çok hızlı bir şekilde artmaktadır. Fakat fen, teknoloji, mühendislik ve matematik eğitimlerinin herkes için açık bir şekilde sunulduğu ortamlar bulunmamaktadır. Bu bağlamda kitlesel açık çevrimiçi dersler aracılığıyla fen, teknoloji, mühendislik ve matematik eğitiminin verilmesi ulusal boyutta fen, teknoloji, mühendislik ve matematik eğitimini çok hızlı bir şekilde entegre edemeyen ülkelerin bu geçiş sürecini aşamalı bir şekilde yapabilmesini sağlayabilir. Bu çalışmada fen, teknoloji, mühendislik ve matematik eğitimlerinin kitlesel açık çevrimiçi dersler ile sunulmasının gelişmekte olan ülkelere ve bireylere sağlayacağı faydalardan bahsedilmiştir
The tremendous change in the industrial age has affected the education system as well as many areas, and the increasing capitalism has brought together the different needs of societies. In the past, the needs of capitalism were trying to educate sufficient workers with open education for all. Today, these needs are being desired to be met with science, technology, engineering and mathematics education, and as a result, the interest and demand for science, technology, engineering and mathematics education is growing very rapidly. But there are no environments where science, technology, engineering and mathematics education are openly offered to everyone. In this context, the provision of science, technology, engineering and mathematics education through massive open online courses can make it possible for countries that are not able to integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics education in national scale very quickly to make this transition process gradually. This study discussed the benefits of providing science, technology, engineering and mathematics training with mass open online courses to developing countries and individuals.
The shocking change of the industrial era has affected the education system, as well as the other areas and increasing capitalism, brought different kinds of needs. Nowadays, these needs are demanded to be met by science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education, which in turn increases the demand for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. However, there are no open sources or units providing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. In this context, providing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education via massive open online courses may enable countries which are not able to integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education nationally to integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education gradually. This study elaborates, the benefits of presenting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education with massive open online courses that are presented to the developing countries and individuals
