Abstract:

Solomon Nazif Efendi is one of the 19th century Divan poets and is also the father of Diyarbakırlı Said Pasha and the grandfather of the Poet-i Fünun Solomon Nazif. In this work we discussed the two estimates written by Koca Ragup Pasha by Suleiman Nazif Efendi for the "was to you" and "in it" redirected gazels. This article has not been published anywhere before and is intended to introduce these two estimates that have been identified by us during our master's study that we completed in 2020. In addition to the entry and outcome sections, our article consists of two sections. In the entrance section first information was given about the estimate as a nazim form, then the two poets of the estimates we studied were briefly presented in the position of Ragıp and Nazif. In the first part, the translation of the estimates was included, and in the second part, the examples of the estimate, the language and the style were reviewed.
