Abstract:

The general purpose of this research is to study the thesis work in the field of education and teaching related to emotional intelligence in Turkey and with access permission through the National Thesis Center under common topics. According to this goal, 112 master’s and 13 doctoral theses, which were conducted within the framework of emotional intelligence in Turkey between 2000 and 2020 years, have been studied according to the level, the year of publication, the objectives, the method and research model, the work group, the data collection tools and the data analysis methods. Reviews have shown that the studies carried out in the field of emotional intelligence are mostly at the master's level and are carried out as a relational scan research, that the research is mostly carried out with university students, and that the research is mostly using the Bar-on Emotional Intelligence test. On the basis of these findings, more of the doctoral levels related to emotional intelligence are included in the study, the conduct of karma and quality research, the planning of new studies with different sampling groups, the use of different data collection techniques in the theses carried out, the conduct of new scale development studies.
