Tıp fakültelerinde uygulanan entegre eğitim-öğretim sisteminde öğrencilerin kazanımlarını ölçmek için genellikle çoktan seçmeli sınavlar uygulanmaktadır. Bu sınavlarda soruların güvenli ortamlarda hazırlanarak arşivlenmesi temel ihtiyaçlardan biridir. Bunun yanında, eğitim-öğretimin kalitesini artırmaya yönelik olarak madde analizlerinin yapılması, soruların ayırt edicilik ve güçlük düzeylerinin incelenmesi önem göstermektedir. Soruların ve kitapçıkların hazırlanması, arşivlenmesi ve değerlendirilmesi için kolay ulaşılabilir ve kullanıcı dostu sistemler kullanılması, zaman ve işgücü desteği yanında eğitim-öğretim sürecinin kalitesine de katkı sağlayacaktır. Bu çalışmada Düzce Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nde sınav bilişim sistemi kurulması ve öğretim üyelerinin süreçten memnuniyetlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Sistem kurulumundan önce anket çalışması yapılarak öğretim üyelerinin sınav sürecinde yaşadıkları zorluklar ve çok zaman harcadıkları durumlar tespit edilmiş, sınav ve soru hazırlama süreçlerinde önem verilen özellikler incelenmiştir. Sistemin kurulmasından sonra yine anket çalışmasıyla öğretim üyelerinin sınav sürecinde yaşadıkları zorluklar, iş gücü ve zaman kaybı konusunda sistemden memnuniyet düzeyleri değerlendirilmiştir. Öğretim üyelerinin oldukça büyük bir çoğunluğu (%77,4 ile %100) sistemin sınav sürecine yaptığı katkılardan memnun olduğunu ifade etmiş, sınav ve soru hazırlama süreçlerinde önem verilen konuların sistem tarafından büyük bir oranda karşılandığı görülmüştür. Sınav sorularının hazırlanması, biçimsel olarak düzeltilmesi ve kitapçık oluşturulması gibi birçok konuda zaman ve iş gücü desteği sağlaması planlanan sınav bilişim sisteminin bu fonksiyonu yerine getirdiği saptanmıştır. Sınav bilişim sistemi sayesinde Düzce Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nde yapılan sınavların güvenliği yüksek, hata düzeyi düşük ve kullanımı kolay bir ortamda yapıldığı, ölçme-değerlendirme uygulamalarının işlevsellik kazandığı ve öğretim üyelerinin memnuniyetinin oldukça yüksek olduğu görülmüştür.
In the integrated educational-learning system applied in the medical faculty, already selectively examined exams are usually applied to measure the achievements of students. The archiving of questions in these exam is one of the basic needs. In addition, it is important to do material analyses to improve the quality of education and teaching, to study the level of differentiability and difficulty of questions. It is easily accessible for the preparation, archiving and evaluation of questions and libraries, and the use of user-friendly systems will also contribute to the quality of the training and teaching process in addition to the support of time and workforce. This study aims to establish an examination computer system at the Düzce University School of Medicine and to study the satisfaction of the faculty members of the process. Before the installation of the system, the survey work was carried out and the difficulties that the teachers experienced in the exam process and the situations they spent a lot of time were identified, the characteristics of the exam and the question preparation process were studied. After the establishment of the system again with the survey work the level of satisfaction from the system regarding the difficulties that the teachers experience in the exam process, workforce and time waste. A large majority of teachers (77.4% to 100%) expressed their satisfaction with the contribution of the system to the examination process, and the topics that are important in the examination and questioning processes were seen to be greatly received by the system. The exam information system, which is planned to provide time and workforce support in many matters, such as the preparation of the exam questions, the formal correction and the creation of the library, has been found to fulfill this function. Thanks to the exam information system, the exam tests at the Düzce University Medical School are made in a high safety, low error level and easy to use environment, the measurement-evaluation practices have gained functionality and the satisfaction of the faculty members is quite high.
In the integrated education system applied in medical faculties, multiple-choice exams are generally applied to measure students' achievements. In these exams, preparing and archiving of questions in a secure environment is one of the basic needs. In addition, carry out item analyzes, examining difficulty levels and discrimination indexes of questions in order to increase the quality of education is important. Using easily accessible and user-friendly systems for preparing, archiving and evaluation of exam questions and booklets will contribute to the quality of the education process as well as time and labor support. In this study, it was aimed to establish an exam information system in Duzce University Medical Faculty and examine the satisfaction of instructors from process. By doing a questionnaire study before the system set-up, difficulties experienced by the instructors during examination process and situations they spent much time were determined and the features important in exam and question preparation processes were examined. After establishment of the system, satisfaction of instructors from the system were evaluated using a questionnaire in terms of difficulties they experienced during examination process, labor force and time loss. The vast majority (77.4% to 100%) of the instructors expressed that they are satisfied with the contributions of the system to examination process, it has seen that the subjects given importance in the preparation process of question and exam have been met by the system in great extent. It was determined that the exam information system fulfills the functions planned for provide time and labor support in many subjects such as preparation of exam questions, formal correction and booklet creation. It has seen that, thanks to the exam information system, the exams in Duzce University Medical Faculty, doing in an easy to use environment with high security, low error level, measurement-evaluation applications gain functionality, and satisfaction of the instructor is quite high.
