Alüminyum Matriksli Malzemelere KNT takviyesi ile geliştirilen Metal Matriksli (MMK) Kompozitlerin Mikroyapı ve Mekanik Özelliklerinin İncelenmesi

Bu çalışmada toz metalürjisi tekniği kullanılarak mekanik alaşımlama yöntemiyle AlMg tozuna takviye edilen Karbon Nanotüp (KNT) tozlarının farklı üretim şartları ve farklı sinterleme koşullarında mikroyapı yoğunluk ve sertlik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Üretilmiş olan farklı oranlardaki bu tozlar, soğuk izostatik preste 40 MPa basınç altında silindirik kompozit numuneler elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen peletler yüksek vakum (1.2 10-5 mbar) altında farklı (350 0C, 400 0C, 450 0C) sıcaklıklar da 2 saat süre ile sinterlenmiştir. AlMg/KNT metal matris kompozitinin mikroyapı ve mekanik özellikleri farklı test cihazları kullanılarak incelendi. Yapılan çalışmalarda üretilmiş olan numunelerin mekanik özelliklerinin sinterleme sıcaklığı ve takviye % KNT ile değiştiği görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak artan KNT oranı ile birlikte farklı sinterleme sıcaklıklarında özellikle %2.5 KNT oranı ve 400 0C de mekanik özellikler de iyileşme olduğu ayrıca bu verilerin, kompozitden AlMg mekanik davranış modlarına geçişte net bir artı değer kattığı da görülmektedir.

In this study, the microstructure density and hardness properties of carbon nanotube (CNT) powders reinforced with AlMg powder by mechanical alloying method under different production conditions and different sintering conditions were investigated by using powder metallurgy technique. These powders in different proportions produced, cold isostatic prestressed cylindrical composite samples were obtained under a pressure of 40 MPa. The obtained pellets were sintered at different temperatures (350 °C, 400 °C, 450 °C) for 2 hours under high vacuum (1.2 10-5 mbar). The microstructure and mechanical properties of the AlMg/CNT metal matrix composite were studied using different test equipment. It can be seen that the mechanical properties of the specimens produced in the studies are changed by the sintering temperature and the reinforcement % CNT. As a result, it is observed that the increased CNT ratio improves the mechanical properties especially at 2.5% CNT ratios at different sintering temperatures and at 400 °C, and it also shows that these data add a clear plus to the transition from composite to AlMg mechanical behavioral modes.
