III. teklik kişi iyelik eki üzerinde bir hayli durulmuş olup yapılan çalışmalar artık öncekilerin tekrarı olma hüviyetini kazanmaya başlamıştır. Bu çalışma da önceki teorilerden türeme teorisini esas almış olup bu anlamda alana yeni deliller sunmayı amaç edinmiştir. Öncelikle bahsi geçen iyelik ekiyle ilgili iki görüş değerlendirilmiştir. Daha sonra eski bir teori olan türeme teorisi ele alınmıştır. İyelik ekiyle ilgili tüm bu öne sürmeler Çağatay dil konuşurlarının atalarının oynadığı rol üzerine bina edilmiştir. Son kısımda belirtme durum eki üzerinde durulmuştur
