Bu araştırmanın amacı, sağlık yönetimi öğrencilerinin bilinçli farkındalıkları ve empatik eğilimlerinin eleştirel düşünmeye etkisini incelemektir. Çalışma Selçuk Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi’nde eğitim gören Sağlık Yönetimi bölümü öğrencileri üzerine uygulanmıştır. Nicel araştırma deseni kullanılarak araştırmaya 92 erkek 264 kadın olmak üzere 356 kişi katılmıştır. Bilinçli Fakındalık ölçeği, Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği ve Eleştirel Düşünce Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ölçeklerin cronbach-alpha değeri sırasıyla 0.849,0.809 ve 0.866’dir. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin %25.8 i erkek, %74.2 si kadındır. Bunlar %25.6 ’sı 1.sınıf, %30,3’ü 2.sınıf, %26.1’i 3.sınıf, %18’i 4.sınıflarından oluşmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin üniversiteye yerleşmeden önceki yaşadığı yer oranları ise %15.2’ si köy ve kasaba, %30.3’ ü ilçe, %21.9’ u şehir, %32.6’ sı büyükşehir olarak tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamındaki sağlık yönetimi öğrencilerin anne eğitim durumlarının %75,8’ i ilkokul, %16,9’ u Lise, ve %7,3 lisans mezun durumda iken babalarını eğitim düzeyleri %56,5’i ilkokul, %29,2’ si Lise ve %3,7’ si önlisans %10,7’ si lisans mezunu oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan sağlık yönetimi öğrencilerinin sahip oldukları aile yapılarının %82,3’ ü Çekirdek ve %17,7’ si Geniş aile olarak tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Bilinçli farkındalık ve empatik eğilim, eleştirel düşünceyi pozitif yönde etkilemektedir. Bilinçli farkındalık 1 birim artış eleştirel düşünmede 0,22’lik bir artış göstermektedir. Empatik eğilimdeki 1 birim artış eleştirel düşünmede 0,25’lik bir artış göstermektedir. İki değişken birlikte eleştirel düşüncenin %23’ünü açıklamaktadır.
The aim of this research is to study the conscious awareness of health management students and the impact of their empathic tendencies on critical thinking. The study was applied to the students of the Department of Health Management who are trained at the Faculty of Health Sciences of Selçuk University. The study included 356 people, including 92 men and 264 women. The scale of consciousness, the scale of empathic tendency and the scale of critical thinking have been used. The cronbach-alpha values of the scales are 0.849,0.809 and 0.866 respectively. Of the students who participated in the study, 25.8 percent were men and 74.2 percent were women. These are: 25.6 percent of class 1, 30.3 percent of class 2, 26.1 percent of class 3, 18 percent of class 4. Students who participated in the study were identified as the place where they lived prior to university settlement; 15.2% of the village and town, 30.3% of the district, 21.9% of the city, 32.6% of the city and 32.6% of the city. The study found that 75.8% of students in health management were primary school, 16.9% high school, and 7.3% graduate; their parents were primary school, 56.5% high school, 29.2% high school, and 3.7% pre-graduate, 10.7% graduate. According to the study, 82.3% of the family structures that health management students participated in the study were found to be core and 17.7% large families. The research finds that conscious awareness and empathic tendency influence critical thinking in a positive direction. Conscious awareness 1 unit increase shows an increase of 0.22 in critical thinking. The 1 unit increase in empathic tendency shows an increase of 0.25 in critical thinking. The two variables together describe 23% of critical thinking.
