Çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’nin Türk Devletleri Teşkilatı (TDT) asıl üye ülkeleri ve gözlemci üye ülkeleri ile olan ticaretinde hangi mal gruplarında karşılaştırmalı üstünlüğe sahip olduğunu, hangi mal gruplarında ise karşılaştırmalı üstünlüğe sahip olmadığını analiz etmektir. 1995-2021 dönemine ait SITC Rev. 3 basamak 1 veri setinin kullanıldığı analizler Açıklanmış Karşılaştırmalı Üstünlükler (AKÜ) yaklaşımına göre yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre Türkiye Azerbaycan’a karşı 0, 1, 7 ve 8 numaralı mal gruplarında Kazakistan’a karşı 1, 4, 5, 7 ve 8 mal gruplarında Kırgızistan’a karşı 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ve 8 mal gruplarında Özbekistan’a karşı 1, 4, 5, 7 ve 8 mal gruplarında Türkmenistan’a karşı 0, 4, 7, 8 ve 9 mal gruplarında ve Macaristan’a karşı ise 1, 6 ve 8 mal gruplarında karşılaştırmalı üstünlüğe sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Türkiye'nin diğer TDT üyesi ülkelerle olan dış ticaretinde karşılaştırmalı üstünlüklerinin genel olarak benzer bir yapıya sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The aim of the study is to analyze which groups of goods have comparative superiority in trade with the Turkish Organization of Turkish States (TDT) and which groups of goods do not have comparative superiority in trade with the main member countries and the observer member countries. SITC Rev of the period 1995-2021. The analysis used by the 3 stage 1 data set is done according to the described Comparative Excellence (ACU) approach. According to the findings obtained, Turkey has a comparative superiority in the commodity groups of 0, 1, 7 and 8 against Azerbaijan; in the commodity groups of 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8 against Kazakhstan; in the commodity groups of 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 against Kyrgyzstan; in the commodity groups of 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8 against Uzbekistan; in the commodity groups of 0, 4, 7, 8 and 9 against Turkmenistan and in the commodity groups of 1, 6 and 8 against Hungary. Turkey’s other TDT member countries have a similar structure in comparative foreign trade.
The aim of the study is to analyze in which commodity groups Turkey has a comparative advantage and in which commodity groups it does not have a comparative advantage in foreign trade with the original member countries and observer member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). The analyzes were performed according to the Revealed Comparative Advantages (RCA) approach using the SITC Rev. 3 digit 1 dataset for the period 1995-2021. According to the findings, it has been determined that Turkey has a comparative advantage against Azerbaijan in the commodity groups 0, 1, 7 and 8; against Kazakhstan in commodity groups 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8; against Kyrgyzstan in commodity groups 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8; against Uzbekistan in commodity groups 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8; against Turkmenistan in commodity groups 0, 4, 7, 8 and 9; against Hungary in commodity groups 1, 6 and 8. It has been concluded that Turkey's comparative advantages in foreign trade with other TDT member countries generally have a similar structure.
