Abstract:

After-school education of gifted individuals are held in science and art centers. Development of the guidelines of curriculum of Turkish courses given in these centers in accordance with the student needs is aimed. This study aims to find the world and in Turkey highlights students' competencies and gifted in Turkish Education prepared the investigative side to the needs of gifted students Qualifications Framework (FGTE) in terms of Science and Art Centers Turkish Curriculum (2020) is to investigate the acquisition. For this, the relevant documents were examined and subjected to content analysis. In terms of FGTE, the curriculum was examined by descriptive analysis method. Accordingly, it was concluded that 85 out of 157 achievements related to the support training program and 45 out of 57 achievements related to the awareness program for individual abilities addressed the competencies framework. In general, 120 out of 214 achievements respond to the qualifications framework. This corresponds to a rate of 54%. Similar results were obtained in studies pursuing similar goals (Bal, 2018; Kurudayıoğlu and Soysal, 2018). It is suggested that the SACTC should be reviewed in line with contemporary / current educational competencies or in future program development studies should consider the results of this study.
