Abstract:

It is one of the most toxic substances known. Although acute poisoning is not frequently found, suicides with cyanide often result in death. The study showed a 27-year-old man who committed suicide with potassium sianide received via the internet. A glass of water contained with white colored material was found at the site, a bill and a credit card payment file that documented the purchase of 1 kg potassium sianide from a company that sells chemicals via the internet. On the autopsy, submucosal conjunction and focal fresh blood areas in the ozephagus have been found to have non-specific findings such as severe hyperemia in other tissues and in toxic examination it has been found to die due to acute sianide poisoning taken through the mouth. This phenomenon was presented in order to note that the known most toxic substance, sianide, can be easily obtained through the internet and emphasize that access to these substances should be strictly controlled.
