Memoir is one of the literary forms and forms of writing in which the writer recounts his memories, scenes or events that have taken place in their lives and have been involved with them or have witnessed them. It should be noted that the reliance on memory is in the mind of the author. The author has faced incidents at his or her own point of view, and over time, they have seduced them and, when writing, reemerges them by relying on their literary and artistic ability. These variables can transform memory from the simple narrative of an historical event to a literary, readable and lasting work. With the start of the eight-year Iraq war against Iran, many Iranian warriors began to write memos and daily notes. The extent and magnitude of the imposed war made these memoirs and notes, while expressing their feelings and thoughts in the history documents of events, used to explain the realities of the war. The decoding of the transformation process of memory into a story in sustainability literature is a matter in which research and development, while formulating and defining the principles and rules of the transformation of memory into a story, will pave the way for more writers to create such works. So, in this study, we have studied the metamorphosis of the memory of the novel by relying on the Atash be ekhtiyar novel, written by Mohammad Reza Bayrami. The results of the research show that the fire of choice has characteristics that have been able to transform this effect from memory into literary texts and give it a literary-historical nature.
