Soğuk Savaş döneminin sona ermesi, güvenlik politikalarından ekonomiye, toplumsal yapıdan teknolojiye kadar birçok farklı alanda değişime yol açmıştır. Bu kadar geniş bir alanda yaşanan değişim dalgası ordular üzerinde de bir baskı oluşturmuş ve birçok ülke silahlı kuvvetlerini ortaya çıkan yeni tehditlere ve görev türlerine göre yeniden tasarlamıştır. Özellikle ABD ve Batı Avrupa’da başlayan ve NATO etkisiyle yayılan askeri değişimin sonucunda ortaya çıkan ürünün ülkeden ülkeye farklılıklar gösterdiği görülmektedir. Ancak bu alanda Türkçe literatürde çalışma yok denecek kadar azdır. Bu makale söz konusu dönemde ortaya çıkan ve halen devam eden askeri değişim hareketlerini farklı disiplinler tarafından ortaya konulan modeller üzerinden anlamaya ve açıklamaya yönelik bir çalışmadır.
The end of the Cold War period has led to changes in many different areas, from security policies to economics, from social structure to technology. The wave of change in such a widespread area has also made pressure on the armies and many countries have re-designed their armed forces according to the new threats and types of missions that arise. In particular, the product that arises as a result of the military change that began in the United States and Western Europe and spread by the influence of the NATO appears to be different from country to country. However, there is little work in Turkish literature in this area. This article is a study aimed at understanding and explaining the armed change movements emerging and continuing during that period through the models presented by different disciplines.
