In this work, the natural frequencies of rectangular sectioned glass fiber reinforced composite (GFREC) profiles and of carbon fiber reinforced composite (CFREC) profiles are determined by using the finite element method (FEM) for various fiber angles. In the next stage, FEM analyses of rectangular sectioned hybrid composite profiles formed by stacking GFREC plates and CFREC plates at different angles and order are carried out. In this way, the effect of the hybridization on the natural frequency is investigated. In addition, the effect of cross section aspect ratio, boundary condition and radius on natural frequency of the hybrid composite profiles is investigated. As a result, in all modes, the natural frequencies of the CFREC profiles are found to be higher than that of GFREC profiles. The natural frequencies of hybrid composite profiles are smaller than that of CFREC profiles, higher than that of GFREC profiles.
